Garrett Hamilton, CEO and Co-Founder of Reach Security, wrote an article on Security Boulevard that explores why cybersecurity must rebalance from reactive incident response toward proactive prevention. He argues that tool sprawl, dynamic exposure, misconfigurations, and configuration drift have made it nearly impossible for security architects to manage modern environments manually. The article explains why general-purpose AI is not reliable enough for security architecture, and why domain-specific language models, or DSLMs, are better suited to safely interpret controls, detect drift, and guide remediation. DSLMs can help security teams optimize the tools they already own, close exposure gaps before attackers exploit them, and put prevention back at the center of cybersecurity strategy.
